Princeton University
Princeton University is a private university, which is located in Princeton, New Jersey. It is a member of the Ivy League. First, it was founded in Elizabeth in 1746, however it moved to Princeton in 1756. Princeton University was among the first universities, which did not have official religious affiliation. Nevertheless, it had close connection with the Presbyterian Church. Nowadays it is free of some religious obligations.
Nowadays the university has connections with Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton Theological Seminary, Westminster Choir College, and Rider University.
The main attention in the Princeton University has been paid to the undergraduate education. Speaking about the degrees, Princeton University offers to its applicants one should mention that in spite of lacking law, business and medical schools, the number of the master’s and doctoral degrees in humanities, sciences, and social science is just impressing.
