St. Anthony College Preparatory High School

St. Anthony College Preparatory High School, commonly abbreviated to AS, is a private school in California. It is a Roman Catholic School situated in the downtown area, Long beach in California.

In order to provide you with some statistics, I would like to dwell upon some figures pertained to the 2007-2008 schooling year. This school has 265 students, which are enrolled in grades nine through twelve. St. Anthony College Preparatory High School is served by Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

St. Anthony College Preparatory High School was organized in 1920. It was organized by Sisters of the Immaculate Heart. Boy’s school and girl’s school were presented in St. Anthony College Preparatory High School.

As it was already mentioned, St. Anthony College Preparatory High School is located at 6th and Olive Avenue in Downtown Long Beach. Since the time of its foundation a great amount of different renovations were made.  The campuses are situated a little bit further from the main corpuses where the study is going on, that is why there is a school bus, which serves for the convenience of the students.

Except the strong college preparation program, and religious study, a strong athletic program is presented within the walls of St. Anthony College Preparatory High School.

Princeton University

Princeton University is a private university, which is located in Princeton, New Jersey. It is a member of the Ivy League. First, it was founded in Elizabeth in 1746, however it moved to Princeton in 1756. Princeton University was among the first universities, which did not have official religious affiliation. Nevertheless, it had close connection with the Presbyterian Church. Nowadays it is free of some religious obligations.

Nowadays the university has connections with Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton Theological Seminary, Westminster Choir College, and Rider University.

The main attention in the Princeton University has been paid to the undergraduate education. Speaking about the degrees, Princeton University offers to its applicants one should mention that in spite of lacking law, business and medical schools, the number of the master’s and doctoral degrees in humanities, sciences, and social science is just impressing.

It is not very simple to be admitted to the Princeton University, as the admission committee is one of the cruelest ones and they are selecting only the best applicants among the best ones. However, if you managed to be admitted, you are going to be supplied by the best professors, with the best curriculum, and with the best opportunities after finishing Princeton University.
