Private Schools
Independent schools should work so that poor people could benefit. Unfortunately not so many independent schools meet the requirement. But it doesn’t mean that state educational sector is for rich people only.
With the help of various scholarships and bursaries provided by the independent schools disadvantaged families get the opportunity to benefit. Of course it costs money. Those families that pay all the fees would have to take a mortgage.
To revenue the money for bursaries schools are raising the costs for school places. Sometimes it becomes necessary for an independent school to make a partnership with some state school. This could be the partnership of sporting facilities or teaching resources. Pupils should have free school meals.
The worry is how to put all this into effect. This issue should be taken into consideration as soon as possible.
But now the independent sector should prove the charities are of public benefit. Independent schools are worried today that pupils’ parents would complain at the schools. They say they do their best, work very hard so that their kids could get a good education while those who have no money don’t pay for the education at all. They think it’s not fear.
But parents should take into consideration the fact that their children study at schools getting government financial aid. This is a result of a charitable status.
